: This episode is an interview and we gave our best to record 3 tracks but had to take a recording in which Glen and Scott are recorded on one track and Sven on the other track. Unfortunately that meant the quality on Sven's track is way worse, which is normal for the Ecamm Call Recorder Software that we used for this setup but we made that trade-off. We finally got a new interview with Scott Davis! Scott Davis is the founder of ThirstyHead.com, a training and consulting company that specializes in Groovy and Grails solutions. Scott published one of the first public websites implemented in Grails in 2006 and has been actively working with the technology ever since. Author of the books Getting Started with Grails and Groovy Recipes: Greasing the Wheels of Java, as well as two ongoing IBM developerWorks article series (Mastering Grails and in 2009, Practically Groovy), Scott writes extensively about how Groovy and Grails are the future of Java development.
