Here we go, this is our first live recording of the podcast. Don't expect the best audio, but we tried our best to improve some low levels while not distorting the whole thing. Thanks again to everybody who was at our BOF, it was real fun! Our Panelists were: Dierk Koenig, Scott Davis, Andres Almiray, Danno Ferrin and James Williams.
We're thrilled to give you some recent video footage from JavaOne 2009. Also, check out Scott Davis' interviews with key Groovy people fresh from JavaOne 2009 here. We'll update the embedded player in this post and add links to the related videos section for older videos as we update the page. The best way to get updates: follow @grailspodcast on Twitter.
Our SoapBox topic this time has a strong focus on Amazon
EC2 and other Cloud Hosting providers. Chris Richardson joined as a
co-host for all things 'cloud'. Chris is the founder of Cloud Foundry , which provides automated, outsourced data center management for Java applications on Amazon EC2. He also founded Cloud Tools , which makes it easier to deploy Java/Grails applications on Amazon EC2. Cloud Tools is also available as a Grails Plugin.
Our SoapBox topic is Danno Ferrin, Griffon Logo Contest. We had a few issues with Sven's audio in this episode, but again, we're working on getting all these bugs sorted.
We have a real highlight in terms of FREE stuff this episode. We give away a free pass for the GR8CONF. Listen to the show to get the details on how to win and visit their website to find out more.
